Roleplay at All Times: Players must remain in character at all times while in the server. Out-of-character (OOC) chat should be kept to a minimum and used only for essential communication.
Respect and Decency: Disrespectful behavior, harassment, hate speech, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated. This includes both in-character and OOC.
No Meta-Gaming: Using information obtained OOC to influence in-character decisions is prohibited. All knowledge should be gained through roleplay.
No Power-Gaming: Forcing actions upon other players without giving them a chance to respond or engage in the RP scenario is not allowed. Always allow for reasonable responses.
No Random Deathmatch (RDM): Killing or attacking other players without a valid in-character reason is strictly forbidden.
No Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM): Using vehicles to randomly run over players or ram other vehicles without proper RP context is not allowed.
2. Character Creation
Realistic Names: Characters should have realistic names that fit within the British theme. No famous names or names that are obviously intended to troll.
Background and Story: Characters should have a developed backstory that aligns with their actions in the game. Unrealistic or overly extravagant backgrounds (e.g., "billionaire mafia boss") are discouraged unless properly roleplayed.
Character Limits: Players are limited to two active characters at any one time. Each character should have distinct personalities and roles in society.
3. Criminal Activity
Robbery Cooldowns:
Store Robberies: 30 minutes cooldown between store robberies by the same group or individual.
Bank Heists: 2-hour cooldown between bank heists by the same group or individual.
Home Invasions: 1-hour cooldown between home invasions by the same group or individual.
Planning: All major crimes (e.g., bank heists, large-scale drug deals) must be thoroughly planned in-game, and steps must be taken to avoid unnecessary escalation. Law enforcement should have a fair chance to respond.
Hostage Situations: Hostages must be treated with respect, and their lives should be valued. Killing hostages without a valid reason is considered Fail RP.
Kidnapping: Kidnappings should be roleplayed with proper planning and should not be done randomly or excessively. There is a 1-hour cooldown between kidnappings.
Baiting Police: Deliberately provoking police officers to get into a chase or firefight is not allowed. Criminal activities should be conducted with realism in mind.
New Life Rule (NLR): If your character dies during a criminal activity, you must not return to the scene or engage in the same activity for at least 30 minutes. Your character should have no memory of the events leading up to their death.
Use of Firearms: Firearms should be used realistically. Gunfights should be a last resort, and players should avoid excessive violence.
4. Law Enforcement
Police Roleplay: Law enforcement officers are expected to roleplay their characters professionally. Corruption is allowed but should be kept to a minimum and properly roleplayed.
Use of Force: Officers should escalate force gradually, using verbal commands, tasers, and non-lethal methods before resorting to lethal force. Lethal force should only be used when there is a clear and present danger to life.
Pursuits: Police chases should be realistic. Avoid unnecessary destruction or putting civilians at risk. Helicopters and spike strips should be used appropriately.
Arrest Procedures: All arrests must be conducted with proper roleplay. Suspects should be read their rights and given a chance to comply before being detained or arrested.
Raids and Warrants: Police must obtain in-character search or arrest warrants from a superior officer before conducting raids or major operations.
Cooldown for Raids: Police must wait at least 2 hours before conducting another raid on the same location or against the same group.
5. Economy and Jobs
Money Laundering: Large sums of money from illegal activities must be laundered through businesses or other RP means. Directly using large amounts of dirty money without laundering it first is not allowed.
Business Ownership: Players can own and operate businesses. Businesses must be run realistically, and any illegal activities conducted through a business must be discreet and well-roleplayed.
Legal Jobs: Players are encouraged to take up legal jobs (e.g., taxi driver, delivery driver, mechanic). These roles should be roleplayed with dedication, and players should avoid abandoning their jobs to engage in crime unless it fits their character's story.
Scamming: Scamming is allowed but must be done with proper roleplay and should not involve new players. There is a 30-minute cooldown after a successful scam.
6. Vehicles
Realistic Driving: All players must drive realistically, following traffic laws when appropriate. Excessive speeding, reckless driving, or using vehicles as weapons without RP context is not allowed.
Car Chases: During car chases, both criminals and police must consider public safety and roleplay the situation realistically. Crashing at high speeds should result in serious consequences.
Vehicle Theft: Stealing vehicles should be done with a clear RP purpose. Randomly stealing cars without any reason or RP context is not allowed. There is a 30-minute cooldown between vehicle thefts by the same group or individual.
7. Communication
Radio Use: In-character radio communication should be used for coordination during group activities. Out-of-character coordination using third-party apps (e.g., Discord) is not allowed.
Voice Chat: Voice chat should be used for in-character communication only. Shouting over the radio or in voice chat without reason is not allowed.
Text Chat: Text chat is primarily for in-character communication. Use of OOC chat should be limited and respectful.
8. Server-Specific Rules
British Setting: The server is set in a British-themed environment. Players should respect the setting by using appropriate accents, slang, and cultural references where possible.
Emergency Services: Emergency services should be respected. Players are encouraged to interact with police, ambulance, and fire services in a realistic manner.
No Unrealistic Properties: Players should not own multiple extravagant properties without proper RP justification. This includes luxury homes, multiple businesses, etc.
Time Zones: Server events and activities should be scheduled according to British time zones (GMT/BST).
9. Reporting and Enforcement
Rule Violations: Any rule violations should be reported to the server moderators with evidence (screenshots, video, etc.). False reports or misuse of the reporting system will result in penalties.
Appeals: Banned or punished players have the right to appeal. Appeals must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed by a panel of moderators.
Punishments: Punishments for rule violations include warnings, temporary bans, and permanent bans. Severity will depend on the nature and frequency of the offense.
10. Community Guidelines
Participation: Players are encouraged to participate in community events, discussions, and forums. Respectful interaction with other community members is essential.
Feedback: Constructive feedback about the server is welcome. Players can submit suggestions for improvement through the proper channels.
Updates: Server rules and features may be updated periodically. Players are responsible for keeping themselves informed of any changes.
